You should be able to swap from 6 lugs to 5 lugs for under $200, that’s including new rotor, calipers, brake pads, seals, warn hubs and machining down the spindles. The hubs can be had for cheap at the boneyard.

That may be the case if you can find the parts, around here with the scrap prices being so high everything has been crushed :mad: so my $500 was based on new spicer spindles and new hubs & rotors and wheel bearings.
 
There is no need to buy new spindles, if the J-10 axles he purchased are 74-76 they will work just fine. If not the large spindles can be machined down for about $10 each. If he does his home work he can find new rotors seals, and bearings at a good price. Personally I wouldn't buy new hubs because the used stuff is typically in good shape even on the east coast. Depending where you live you can expect to pay from $25 a set (what I paid) and up.


I used one small spindle (on left), and one large spindle machined down (on right).
