Gas gauge doesn't work

Any easy way of figuring out if it's the gauge or the sending unit without pulling the tank?

Also, the gas fill stops at 10 gallons and it's a 15 gallon tank. Any idea why it won't fill all the way?

cpocj7,here is a link that might help with your gas guage problem. HTTP://home.rodrunner.com/johnstrenk/%20web%20page/basic_troubleshooting_for_cj_GUA.htm as far as your capacity problem, you might want to check your vent tube it could be vapor locking and not allowing full capacity, check for pinched or plugged tube. good luck !

sorry about the misspelling, it's supposed to be roadrunner,instead of rodrunner. if that still does'nt work,try typing in basic troubleshooting for cj guages in the search bar,I think thats how i stumbled across it.
