Ok, I fixed the exhaust issue, replaced the tire rods and value gasket. She's purring like a cat now. Two more things and I'm done. First is a new windshield wiper motor which I just got and the other is the gauge lights. My gauges are all working but they don't light up. For the life of me, I can't figure out why. Any suggestions?

Oh, for the seating issue, I am using the back rest from a childs seat. Now my wife can drive and reach the pedals. She's not happy with it but it's the only fix I can come up with for now.

Thanks

Ok, now that's funny!:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Pull one of the Orange wires from the closest light and see if you have power coming from it. If not the problem is further up the system and not the bulbs. If it has power you need to replace the bulbs.

Running a jumper wire from the battery negative to a gauge cluster mounting bolts would test for a bad ground. If you are mounting a new w/s wiper motor, it will not work with the windshield down as the ground circuit is broken.

lol i love the seat back idea.

As far as the dash lights go there is a dimmer switch in the headlight switch if you dont know about that. just turn your headlight switch knob left and right to dim/brighten

Mine runs if the windshield is down, as it can ground through the windshield hinges. ;)

Why do you even need them? You live in the desert! A roll of paper towel would probably work better. :poke:

For when the guy in front of me hits a puddle....:p :laugh:
Paper towels are save for other needs. :eek:
