Has anyone used this tranny in a CJ with the Dana 300 ? I may have an opportunity to get the tranny for cheap, just keeping options open.

I'm running this Transmission behind an AMC 401. Not sure about it behind a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l . Also a Dana 20 behind it. If you can get the right bell housing and adapters to go to the Dana 300 , go for it. I got adapters from Advance Adapters. Novak Conversions also has them.
