I got the white CJ7 . 1983, runs and shifts perfectly! 2 wheel, 4 wheele high, and 4 wheele low work great. Only problem is the LARGE amounts of rust. Spent $800.

Congrats on the purchase. As long as you went over the frame pretty well it sounds like you got a decent Cj.

Yep. I think the two main things are a tub and some doors. Everything else is in fairly good condition. Oh, and I need to get a new muffler instaled, previos owner broke it off on a snow drift . Thanks for the help!

Suspension:
Spring over axle 4" SUA , 1.5" shackle lift
Springs:
Yj wrangler springs Custome Old Man Emu
Shocks:
Oil shocks️
Body Lift:
1.25" Lift System (depending on result of spring over axle) ️ only 1" body though
Axle Gear Ratio:
4.88 4:56 was more than enough + better highway speeds️
Differentials:
Full Time Locking Went with cable actuated selectable lockers for best of both worlds️
Hubs:
Manual Locking - Warn Premium heavy-duty hubs️
Winch:
Warn 8274 8,000 lb Warn Zeon 10s Platinum️
Fuel Tank:
15 gallon stock 20 gallon️
Protection:
Full roll cage - 6 point bar setup️
Under Protection:
Full Skid Plates; Warn rock sliders️ some custome made protective plates had to be made for good coverage of the Transmission /TC.

This was my goal build for a CJ7 rock crawler/daily driver. It took a while, but the setup has been awesome and running complete for a few years now. Thanks
