got no reverse lights

Ok got an 82 cj with a T-5 Transmission and no back up light. All other lights work. I got no power to the revers light socket the back up sensor in the Transmission has been replaced and i have tested it and it works, but there is no power power in the plugs that goes into the sensor. So im a little lost any help world be great.

Looking at an '86 wiring diagram, the backup light switch gets its power from the BU/Seat Belt fuse, from there the power goes to the switch through a red wire.

as Torxhead already said you have a wiring problem. Since the other lights all work it's not a fuse (but it wouldn't hurt to check them).
When the key is in the run position you should have 12 volts on the red wire at the Transmission switch.

Just found the problem. Thanks for the help. The large plug next to the fusebox was a little loose. With a little wiggle and a press, let there be light
