Over the trail and through the woodsLast time in Jp-land we introduced you to our crazy scheme to drive our recently completed ’56 CJ5 project Jeep, also known as Ground-Up, from southern Arizona to the Rubicon Trail in Northern California for a vintage run. Last time we covered the week-long preparation for this trip, adding a few key parts and gizmos to make the reborn old Jeep more livable and reliable for our adventure. We then hit the road for an 800-mile trip from Phoenix, Arizona, to South Lake Tahoe, California, in a rattling old open-top Willys.
