hard top

I want to take my top off in the next few days. Is it prett much just take the bolts out and lift off? How heav is this top? Is it too much for one person?

Yep pull the bolts and lift the top it weighs pretty close to 150lbs, if your stout it can be managed by one person from the back, get under it, lift it and walk it off the back, its of course heaviest in the back. Id reccomend having two people though.

I thought I could do mine by myself to. Dont do it unless you are Hulk Hogan. Its pretty heavy but also very awkward. Two people its a breeze

i can take mine off by myself, i cant put it back on though (that takes a little more accuracy). im a big guy so taking it off isn't really that bad.

Kinda depends on what you have. I have been moving an original ACME hardtop around the shop the last few days by myself after I pulled it off the CJ (by myself, since I'm the only one that works there! lol). Its not too bad, but I have had 1/2 tops that weighed half as much as the Jeep before (Keonig arctic top). Those are heavy!
