Had a bad weekend. It all started with my truck wanting to overheat on the way down, when we got to town in the 95* heat with the air on, but we made it ok.
3 of us went out for a couple hours after we got there, headed to the lower rock garden. Had a great time and headed back to the house we rented.

Sat morning all 6 of us headed to White Tail trail. Matt made it up the lower section, the rest of us took the bypass up the hill.

Thats where I ended up putting a rock through my Transmission pan and bending my front driveshaft. So after winching out Joe towed me back to my truck and trailer.
So my 3 day weekend ended up with about 4 hours of trail riding.
I think this is my wifes doing as she broke a mirror friday when we got there.
Today will be spent accesing the damage and seeing what all needs fixing. :(

Wow, Old Dog. That sucks.
You've got some challenging trails there.

Got it tore apart, the driveshaft is bent and twisted although the pic doesn't do it justice. The good news is that I have a new Tom Woods shaft here that I just hadn't put in yet. :D
The Transmission pan is toast. but I have the stock pan I can put back in.
The pinion bearing and transfer output seem to be ok. :)

Those are some great looking trails!

Sorry to hear about the short weekend, I guess it's good news you have the parts on hand to get out of all the damage with minimal cost.

Thanks for sharing the pics, love seeing new places.

I just went up to Ice House again, and went up the Rubicon a ways this last weekend, I'll be putting together a trail report later today or tomorrow...
