After several years I got going on this and two other annoying things to do with the steering column, horn staying on (broken turn signal cancelling cam) and the ignition cylinder (too much force to hold it in while turning to start the engine)
With the steeting wheel off and the column exposed think I can see what seems to be a teeter totter switch that holds continuity between the left and right turn signals but my FSM doesn't show me what is what. Does anyone have a diagram or photo of the top end of the column?
