Head light adjustment?

Head light adjustment?
:) that's one thing I enjoy about this board. We are serious in our advice, but don't take ourselves too serously or so seriously that we can't take a little time to have some fun with each other.

Amongst the threads I have learned a few things:

- Park close to find initial head light height

- Back up 25 feet and adjust to slightly below the close setting

- Jeeps Unlimited seems to be a board that likes to push some buttons

- being an A55 isn't always a bad thing and Peters little girl avatar makes me happy...

Generally there are two different types of laws that cover this. One being the general vehicle equipment law and the second being the laws that cover inspection ststions. Unless you are requested to submit to a safety inspection, the equipment law is what most coos will go by. The equipment laws are ver similar for all states. In AZ the numbers are 35 watts low beam, 55 watts high beam, must be seen at 500 ft distance, on level ground with no load no higher tha 54 inches, and no lower than 22 inches. That doesn't mean you can't get a ticket for blinding someone with using those measurment. They need only prove what a reasonable person would conclude. As for Pete, just bring your avitar with you and you will be fine everytime.:D Rod

That thread was hysterical. Most of it is members are blasting each other and not really answering the OP's question.
