Heater fuse

I have all new harness. The fuse to the heater motor keeps blowing, it is a ten amp. Trying to figure if the is a short or if I am using too small a fuse!

Are you sure it's supposed to be a 10A fuse? I just ran out to the garage and I have a 25A fuse in mine. 10A sounds a little low for an electric motor...

Put a 20A fuse in there, if it blows that too, I would start thinking either short in the wiring or short in the motor.

In this case I think this was the right thing to do. Under most circumstances I would hope everybody would resist the urge to put a bigger fuse in until it worked. Imagine the smell of wires under the dash and smoke rolling up from under.

Actually I am not sure but that may be a 30 amp circuit, but I have more than once overheard "I had to put a 30 amp fuse in the headlights before they would work." Things like that always make me a bit nervous, nothing quite says "you screwed up" like an incinerated electrical system.
