Here is my situation. The PO cut out the hole for a radio and it looks like he did it with his eyes closed. The radio no longer works so it was yanked and I dont think I will be putting another one in for some time, if ever. So I was thinking today that the heat comes out on the floor directly underneath the hole thats cut in the dash. Has anyone ever made some duct work of any kind, or is it available for purchase, that could go from the floor vent up to the rectangular hole in the dash so I could have vented heat up high instead of the useless floor vent? Almost something like the vent that goes up to the defrosters is what im looking for. Anybody done this?

I've never done that but I thought about running it to the factory speaker cutout since I don't use it for the speakers.

I think if I was to do this, I'd duct that floor vent air to the defroster so it will help defrost the windshield better, and it will blow into the cab at a higher level to help warm the passengers.
I know when I run my Jeep in the winter, the headers keep my feet plenty toasty, right thru the floorboards, so my windshield is where I need the help! lol
