Both are CJ5 's. The one without a top is a 72-75. The one with the top looks to be a '78 or newer.

Both bodies look pretty far gone, but might have some good drivetrain parts for someone. The 72-75 should have a Dana 44 rear and a Dana 30 front, both with 11" drums and most likely either 3.73 or 4.27 gears. Dana 20 is worth $100 or so.

The other one could have one of the desirable 4 speeds (T-18 or T-176 ), Dana 20 or Dana 300 worth some money (Dana 300 worth more). Front axle should be a disc brake Dana 30 . If it's a 78-80 it will have the more desirable 6 bolt hubs which are more rare on disc brakes.

And I bet you could sell the hard top pretty easily.

Please don't send them to the crusher. Even though it doesn't look it, there's a lot of parts there that they don't make anymore. Not good quality parts anyway. If you don't have the time or patients to part them out, find someone that will and sell them to them. There's lots of us around that are willing to save this old iron.

x100

They look beat to all get out, but all the guts are worth something...axles, engines, transmissions, xfer cases, speedometers, etc. See if there are any Jeep salvage yards in your area and you'll be able to get some $$$ if you don't have the time for parting them out yourself.

Just don't crush them! Plenty of stuff in those rigs that will get you some money.

We always need oem parts even if a bit rusty or dirty, beats anything from crown or omix already. They are great doner jeeps.

Will you be selling everything for scrap prices? Or would you want to scrap them before selling to anyone here for scrap prices?
