Hey guys I got a 79 CJ5 with a wore out suspension, jeep leans to drive side and steering is loose/wobbles. Nothing has been touched in 15-20 years. Is there a kit for leaf springs w/shocks and bushing. I'm gonna change out the front end parts also. It might have a shackle lift, and I'm running 33 tires. Gonna keep it stock, it's just a cruiser not much mudding. Thanks

Im pretty sure most kits come with springs and bushings at the bare minimum, and they all usually at least have the option for their shocks. You mentioned keeping it stock, do you mean stock size springs, ie no lift? If so you must have one heck of a shackle lift to clear 33's

Those lift shackles are not doing you steering any good.
If I were you and wanted to keep the 33's, I'd go with lift springs and closer to stock size shackles.

:agree:

Yea I'm new to the jeep world and the previous owner didn't have a clue. I like having 33 just want new parts under the jeep. Gonna try and post some pics of the suspension tonight, maybe ya'll can tell me more then

The rear is stock but the front isn't but looks to be stock size.

Not sure if there is a lot of people here that like rough country but I ordered there suspension kit for my 75 CJ5 from Morris 4x4, it came with new leaf springs, new shocks, steering stabilizer bar, bushings & hardware for shocks and leafs. I think BDS Suspension as some pretty sweet deals to I really like them but was out of my price range.

Good Luck :chug:
