Yea I meant holey. Just trying to catch your attention. Checking out the amount of drilled holes in my supposedly 3rd owner (me) 84 CJ7 . " The original owners were an older couple who put most all the miles on the Jeep and rarely went off road." HMMMM? Most are around 1/8 inch, with the hard top holes being bigger. I have 24 along the bed edges for the hard top but only 10 are used. Snaps galore for a soft top but no soft top. Rollbar has 4, 2 on each vertical pole and one larger one (3/8) all the way thru but nothing attached. I can see 1 fire extinguisher, but 2? The inside of the windshield frame edge has 28 holes with a big cluster on each top corner and the others all around, (4 may be stock) but nothing there. And the dash has three above the amp gauge but nothing there. What the heck! Anyone else have a holey Jeep? This freaks me out and makes me wonder what was attached to all these darn holes. Any thoughts? :chug:

This is one of my favorite posts! I love it. No one has specifically brought this up before that I know of. It's AMAZING how some owners will to a big box parts store and completely lose their minds. They buy every single trinket, doodad and shiny bobble they can find, and MAKE it fit SOMEWHERE! Holes drilled all over holy hell, and where they can't get a hole, out comes the glue tape! Till the poor jeep looks like a one vehicle Chinese new years parade with a roll bar.

I have a few of those that need welded up. Drill bits should not be sold to civilians.

Several aftermarket tops with different mounting locations? Maybe a bunch of lights on the windshield?

My Jeep also came with 3 sets of 2 holes in the windshield. I was thinking it had sun visors at some point.

I also had a bunch of small holes here and there in the bed. I put masking tape behind the holes, JB weld in the holes, paint on bedliner over the holes, and (after removing the masking tape) undercoating behind the holes. Now I can't even find where they used to be. :)
