What did you search for? The standard forum search is not that great. That is why I always use the
-->> Advanced GOOGLE Site Search
- it gives good results. The search for HOT FLOOR gave back these threads and more.

The site search seems fine but the individual forum search doesn't seem to be working.

As stated though, the new should solve the issue. No worries.

Minor Update; After getting the engine in, I had to get a custom exhaust piece from the header to the rest of my pipe. The "S" shape left little room for me to install any type of heat shield. The installer said the pipe he used was an aluminum alloy so not sure if that made a difference. Either way, the floor board hasn't gotten hot like it use to, only warm to the touch. Going to wait until the heat of the summer to see what it does but it's definitely a lot less than before.
