My intake yesterday evening, my favorite 'Nuclear' wings - the waitress couldn't believe I never worked up a sweat (I eat these wings all the time, the don't bother me - I LOVE HOT food)...

Extake (is that a word?)... Not so good today... LOL :(

So, what is your favorite HOT food?

Chili, salsa but it has to taste good and be hot not just food covered in hotsauce.
Yes there is a difference and most people miss it.

Flavor / taste is everything! Hot, just to be hot - does not work for me... :)

Good question CJ
If you think about it the answer could get complicate
I think Tapa Tio is the best hot sause
favorite hot snack, flaming hot chetoos
favorite hot food, fish tacos fresh off a street cart in Baja Mexico

yep, hot without taste is nothing, it is all about the taste.

Tapa Tio is pretty good, but I prefer Frank's Red Hot myself.

My favorite hot dish would be a properly made bowl of spicy Hungarian Gulash. Made right, like by a REAL Hungarian. Good stuff.

I like flavor, not hot, actually can't eat anything with that much spice. It just does not do anything good for me.

Yea man! I'm with Baja on fish tacos in Baja. Stayed in a hotel in Ensenada many years ago. Way before it was gringoized btw, and some of the fish taco vendors were right under the bathroom window and they smelled sooooo goooood! I ate tons and never got sick once. They were awesome! Did have to fill up at the Pemex gas station to get back to the border and that stuff was like 40 octane. Barely made it back on that fuel. Those were the good ol BC days. With all the drug cartel stuff going on, won't be heading down there again. :(

Id have to go with franks red hot for favorite hot sauce and as far as hot food i would have to say orange chicken and i use to cook in restuarants and when i cook myself i look for the hot that hits the back of your throat not burns your tongue because that ruins the whole meal for you.

well the pemex is now around 80 octane
you go to the non tourista side of town for the good tacos
and yes those firetrucking Narcos are ruining it, we are even thinking about weather we are going do our annual charity run this year. We already have around 5 grand donated in cash funds and about 2 trailer loads of clothes for the gromets so I guess we have to go, but the thought of the narcos is making me worry this year. this year we are using the funds to do repairs on the village water purification plant. (yea it is a 2 room hut with system in it, but the tanks are about to rust out and the one of the filtering machines has been bypassed) This is where they get their purified water to drink from so I guess we have to go and do it.
I have always had a blast down there and never been hassled by the Fedralies to bad, but those Narcos are different, they killed 72 guys in south Mexico 2 weeks ago . Of the group we have formed to do work with a few villages, more than half have opted out this year, last year it was just 2.

sorry for the highjack, back to the thread.:chug:

Cholula, taste, not overpowering. local tex mex place has what they call"screaming fajitas" beef or chicken. lot of grilled fresh jalapeños. most of the screaming takes place the next morning. Ice cream for desert is recommended.:D
