Yes I'm seeking help, and have checked myself into the Henry Ford Clinic.

Like that first one the best. Sweet stance on that.

Can anyone photochop that red one with a lift and 44" Boggers? Please?

Brock...you think your sick?

The Bugatti Veyron. $2,000,000 of the fastest most beautiful piece of iron ever produced by mankind. 0-60 in 165 feet. top speed of over 250 mph. :notworthy:

They had that on Top Gear the other night, that thing is ridiculous

Brock...you think your sick?

Went to a car show everyone saw the beautiful dark haired girl showing her boobies. I saw a '49 & '50 mercury parked side by side.

Standing Mile: 217.9 mph
1200 hp
1100 lb-ft Torque
$250,000 and spanked the veyron

Meet the fastest kid on the block, The Hennessey Venom!

Pic3.php

Venom was quicker to 200 (4 seconds) but from there...the Veyron owns it. Should be noted that the Venom is a two fisted white knuckler at that speed...doesn't have the aerodynamics to keep it stable (which would also kill some speed). The Veyron can be driven with one hand on the wheel and other than noise...feels much the same at 100 as it does at 253.

Thing is, Hennesy doesn't make a car, they buy Vipers and Corvettes and modify them. So their only "special edition" cars, not ground up production vehicles. I think that the SSC Aero is now technically the fastest car in the world by about 3 mph. However, It basically has no worth as a viable street vehicle, and is powered by a V-8 engine that has been wrung out for all Its worth, and the aerodynamics come from simplt designing the body for massive downforce to keep it on the ground, just like the Hennesy. The Bugatti, on the other hand, is aerodynamically and power controlled by computer, just like a fighter jet. It slips through the air and is adjusted for the perfect performance needed. The drivetrane is no where near the top of its performance, and has plenty more to offer with just a little fine tuning. To me, I can't think of a more stunningly beautiful automobile, or a more complete automobile than that damn Veyron. Jesus, I fell in love with that thing the first time I saw it in 2006.

Bugatti Sedan Concept Car.
Here's some interesting things to note if you decide to buy a Veyron..
1. The engine is hand-assembled by 2 techs in Germany and makes a guaranteed 1001 hp. In perfect conditions output is closer to 1050 hp.

2. It might do 253 mph, but it can't cover 253 miles in an hour: At that speed its 26 gallon tank will run dry after about 50 miles.

3. With a thread dept of just 4mm, the tires need to be replaced every 10,000 miles and the wheels every 30,000. Total cost for one set of tires and wheels: Around $73,000.

4. Seven speed twin clutch gearbox shifts in less than AMC 150 milliseconds, and costs $172,000.

5. Front grills are of titanium to withstand bird strikes at 253 mph. I guess at that speed, anything can be disastrous.

6. Ultra-lightweight titanium bolts costs $85 each but are thrown away if they have to be removed after they've been tightened.

7. Paintwork is by the German conmpany that worked on the Z8 and the Porsche CGT, takes 2 days to examine in a light tunnel.

8. Only 1 piece of glass in 30 is deemed good enough to be fitted to the car; the rest are stored for spare and future restoration.

9. For its 60,000 mile service the Veyron must be split in half. The work can be carried out in just five locations or a mobile workshop can be flown to your car.

10. 3 Veyrons were terminated/damaged in accidents: 2 in the UK and 1 in Japan. Another was destroyed in the US when its delivery truck crashed.

Top Speed: 255 mph

2010 Hennessey VENOM GT Concept
Top Speed: 272 mph

Not a production car. :p

Thats a 'claimed' top speed. All the 'claimed' 200 mph production cars were recently tested and only the Veyron lived up to it's claim. Cheaper is not a very safe word when exceeding 200 mph. There's a reason the Bugatti tires and wheels are so expensive..they're rated for 250 mph plus on the highway and not just for a couple quarter mile passes either. There's also a reason...a very good reason...why you see so much attention given to aerodynamics (rear and front wings). At over 200 mph, you don't have time to make adjustments for stability issues...the car has to be rock solid at that speed. Even losing a small piece of tire tread due to the extreme heat build up at high speeds, can cause a total loss of control (imagine a balanced tire suddenly becoming unbalanced at that speed). Add to the list all things related to what a car is going thru at that speed (wheel bearings, Transmission , driveshaft, diff, etc) and then including the word cheaper is not very wise...especially from John Hennessey (check him out..he has some problems with the truth).

Why would anyone want one of these...where the heck you going to drive it here in the states and not get shut down by a squad of psuedo-military police, who would then just take it for their personal collection anyways?

I'd rather have a top speed of about 100 (for passing purposes) and a couple hundred grand in the bank....

IMHO Beautiful would be a nice house w/ a big arsed shop on 20 acres settled next to a mountain lake with a well built CJ7 in the driveway!

The uber rich want the exotics...sort of like..who has the biggest boat. Most of us would be hard pressed just paying to maintain them (4 Veyron tires and wheels are worth nearly as much as my house). The Vipers and performance oriented Vettes are generally built for guys that like to track their cars...for a relatively modest price, they're competitive (a race set up Porsche in the same class will cost you half a mil). The monster horse power oddity's (like the 1400hp Venom) are more often than not..collectables...they tend to be extremely destructive on their drive trains and are generally not driven all that often. Then there's the class of guys that just want the high horse power cars for that weekend cruise around town...maybe a rare blip of the throttle...few are rarely pushed to the limits on the street..too damn easy to kill yourself and somebody else with you.

Two Words......."Bull Run"
But I would prefer to do it in a car with class....like a properly set up Chevelle, GTO, or other classic!
