How hot

How hot will a T-176 and Dana 300 run? I realize that they will warm up but how hot do they get after a highway run?

If you can't keep your hand on the Transfer Case and it's full of lube, you probally have a bearing that's ready to fail or if recently rebuilt, too much preload.
