How to find a fellow CJR

Hey so the other day at a light a jeep pulled up next to me and I started thinking what if that person is from jeep-CJ.com well I know he wasn't cuz it wasn't a CJ to begin with. But seriously I would think it'd be kinda cool to have some sort of signifier showing this. At least for those that maybe don't have any stickers yet.

Thoughts?

Yes. It would be cool if the site could map locations so you could see who else is in the area. I don't know if vBulletin can do that. Some software can utilize Google Maps. Some people could keep thier location secret and just show a logo in the map but others could have our member name show up on the map.
Something like this would be cool:

Now when you are driving down the road we'll never know you are a member unless you get your sticker.

Hey, here's what I was talking about:
Google Member Map

This mod installs a member map to your website which allows your members to pin their location on a map. It uses Google Maps 3.0 API to generate the map and place 'Push" pins.

o Adds a member profile area for users to add their pin to thier profile. This will then appear on the map.
o Ablilty to search by location when placing thier pin

Yes, I know this isn't exactly what you were talking about. Like I said before, we'll never recognise a member on the street unless he has his sticker.

hmm, well until i get the jeep up and running, i'll have to look out for familiar looking jeeps,

Yea it's still valid. I know CJ still has stickers. And even if he doesn't PM me your address. I have some I can send out. I am planning on giving them out on the Jeep-CJ trail ride but I should have enough.
