-1951 Willys Wagon, 4 cylinder, "F" head, little rust, very close to stock
Shocks are fairly straight forward on a CJ. A little more information on what you are wondering about would be helpful.

The way I see it, shocks are pretty sensitive on a short wheelbase and lightweight CJ. So, I would recommend the good ones and quality gets expensive. The best are Bilstiens and Rancho adjustables are good too, there are also a few others. Lifted CJs require buying by extended length and contraction. Tire air pressure is a big factor here also. If you are not sure you should research this stuff.

I just replaced old ones w cheap monroes from O'Reillys. $100 for all 4. Definitely helped a lot, I wanted soft too.
