The way I see it, shocks are pretty sensitive on a short wheelbase and lightweight CJ. So, I would recommend the good ones and quality gets expensive. The best are Bilstiens and Rancho adjustables are good too, there are also a few others. Lifted CJs require buying by extended length and contraction. Tire air pressure is a big factor here also. If you are not sure you should research this stuff.
