how to Install the gas tank under my '65 CJ5

I just Bought a 1965 CJ5 and I want to put the gas tank somewhere other then under the driver seat so i can put 5 point seats in and generally have space under the seat. I'll like it to go in the rear underneath the Jeep.

Anyone can give me advice, hints, or even a "how to" instructions?

My first jeep was a 66 CJ5 . I was able to cut out the two crossmembers under the tub in the back. I used a newer cj 15 gal tank. It fit perfect. The toughest part was adjusting the filler neck. You can find the tank and skidplate pretty cheap through your local jeep yard. You also want to make sure to mount a hold down strap on it as well. Sorry, no pics but this is a common swap for early cj's so you should be able to get some online. Hope that helps.

I got an idea on how i'm going to do it. but i got to wait to buy a new tank and skid plate.
