Howell FI air cleaner

Curious how many others are running Howell FI and what your running for a A/C. I have a plain old 9"chrome one but would really like to find a stock type or something like what Spectre makes for a 4.3 that dosent cost so much. Be nice to cut down intake noise and make a cold air intake using the snorkel in the rad support.

If you have it the best one to have would be to modify the oem air cleaner with fresh air intake hose.

Google "caddy hat". Rig that to a YJ or TJ airbox. It doesn't get any quieter than that.

Google "caddy hat tbi". It doesn't get any quieter than that setup and it still flows good. You could even snorkel it if you wanted to.

You should be able to find the hat/airbox at most any yard. They came on other vehicles besides the Cadillacs.
