Howell fi problems

I just finished installing my new Howell fi kit on my 84 CJ7 it has the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l and is all stock it ran good before but now runs really rich anyone else had this problem or have any ideas thanks.

is your check engine light on?
is it throwing any codes?
have you checked to make sure it's going to closed loop after it warms up?

The check eng light is off and it hasn't thrown any codes yet how would I check to see if it is going into closed loop

you check it by having it throw codes, the Howell service manual you got with the unit tells you how.
