Well, you shouldn't store your hard top in your yard it in the open, you would just be asking for trouble.

I painted it so hopefully he won't notice if he sees me on the trail.

That looks good, especially that top window. I was wondering what did you use for paint?

SEM is the brand. Camel is this color it is a good in between for honey or spice.it doesn't quite match either but it doesn't clash.

The paint is a flexible vinyl paint, it dries quickly if you apply a light coat. Took about 3 1/4 cans to do the whole top with about 3 coats.

He mustve felt a little guilty about stealing it. He left this and a couple bucks behind to help with the Scrambler fund. Now I have to paint this one black. :bang: No more tinted windows and lost the sunroof...but Im closer to the camping Scrambler. :)

Well I could only fit one top on my get away vehicle.

I forgot I had started repainting that one I left. At least you don't have to repaint the rear hatch.

Nice can you steel me one and bring it to OR. With type 2 doors.
That's what the original owner had on my Laredo with the bronze windows & the sun roof, I am a ways away from that point in my work.
Nice.

and lost the sunroof...

I'm assuming no big loss? Never understood a sunroof on a Jeep top that is completely removable.

I liked it in the Early Spring or Late Fall when the top was on and we got a couple nice days. Its always cool in the morning then like 40 or less but 60 and up in the afternoon. It was the first time I had one and it kinda grew on me.

Oh I know, just poking fun. Guess it can be viewed as ironic?

I have thought about putting a sunroof in my half hard top. Just so that I can get some open air feeling during the winter when I have the top on.

Well now you can get sunlight without having to remove the top. I was more after the tint, headliner, and the aluminum rails that are specific to the Limited tops.

Hmmm. The SEM Camel I've used was a perfect match for Honey.

The Laredo grab bar pictured used to be black. The dash pad is original Honey.

Here is a pic of an original Laredo honey grab bar and seat pad compared to a speaker wedge I painted and then the grab bar compared to the dash pad I painted with the camel.

So yeah it is extremely close, Im just not going to say it is an exact match.

Grab bar is faded from the sun.

I'll post up some more pics I took if I can find them. Dad's Scrambler has been garaged since new, and only has 4500 miles on it, so his interior is perfect and unfaded from time.

Spice is so so close, denim tan is too dark. The SEM works great for Honey interiors, but doesn't stick to the rubber door pulls or wear areas like seats. I did my Tuffy with it to put in Dad's Scrambler and it looks like a perfect match.

Hardtop looks good!

Where did you get that rack? I've got an ACME full length top for the Scrambler, and have an old Sportrac basket from my old 4runner I want to run on the '8 when I get the full top on it.

Reupholstered the headliner and repainted the inside last night.
