I think I've decided on a paint job...

aaaaa no

not my cup of tea.

...No

Not for me.
It is your cj though.

yeah... Basically, the CJ I bought had a totally rotted body - so I bought a replacement tub for $250. It's got some issues, but nowhere near as serious as the old one. I've got rotten fenders and the grill is pretty bad too. I'm planning on painting it all wacky for now, then in about 5/6 years getting a brand new body for it and reconditioning the frame. Until then, I think I'm gonna go for something nutty. Something you wouldn't want forever, but would be nice (and goofy) for a couple of years.

maybe not jurassic park, but who knows... I should stop worrying about the paint and reinstall that fuel tank!

I'm gonna go do that...

Good idea, work on the fuel tank.;)

I've seen a lot worse *shrug* :D

thats not my cup of tea. mabye zebra stripe. ha ha

One coat for dust, two coats for rust....three coats for that standing water in the floor board!

Since its not mine......yes,absolutely;)..or perhaps pink like one of those little kids electric barbie jeeps.Putting a yj front clip on it would go a long way to really finishing the look....but digging up one of those old jc whitney fake rollsroyce grilles for vw bugs and grafting that on the front would be even better!Be sure and post plenty of pics.:D

LOL I actually wheeled with a pair of brothers that went together and built a replica Jurassic park Jeep. Had bigger tires on it that the pictured one, tho.
They did pretty good until they ripped the trac arm off the axle and we had to chain it back up so they could get off the mountain. They got it to the trailers and took it to a guys house and welded it up, dropped our stuff off (chain and a radio), and we've never seen it again.
But to the PO,...No.

Paint? on aCJ ?

let me golook.

Oh, there is some of that stuff under all that rust and primer on my CJs
