(poor thing needs a little bit of time and a few kind words)
After finishing the very short list I had after work on home chores, I was sitting on my back porch enjoying the pride of Golden, CO. My five year old daughter was swinging on the swing set and singing pretty loud. (Something by Miranda Lambert if I had to guess:confused:) The birds were singing and a flock of 25-30 Widgeon was trading between the two ponds in the pasture behind my house. It was 76deg and the wind was blowing like I was back in Newcastle Wyoming.

All of this is to say that I can't think of a much better time to have. And, that I really like ice cold Coors Light!:D

Enjoy life fellow Jeep CJ owners, it doesn't last long!:chug:

it was 85 in Dallas today. tomorrow back to 50 something for the high.

raining and 60
sitting in miles of traffic wondering why am i not in Golden CO

i am starting to think that ATLANTA in latin must mean "the deepest pit in hades"

So this thread is about the weather around the US?
Okay, maybe I'm not reading very carefully.
Well, lets see, its been getting up into the upper 50's here, usually sunny.

dave i think this may have been a great reflection of his particular state he was in at the time (in which i am jealous of )
and the weather conditions stood out......considering its winter

just a guess

Yes, I liked ThisWontBeTooExpensive post. I was thinking weather was a footnote.

Yes and no actually. I had just read the other members blog posts and wanted to give it a shot myself kinda:D.

I am VERY proud of where I was born, raised, and still live as well. Growing up, when my Dad got home from work, he would sit on the porch and have a beer or 15. :chug: Those were some good times and I still enjoy them today as a father of two and husband of my high school sweetheart.;)

If it makes yall feel any better, the north wind has been howling all day and its going to get down to 36 tonight. :censored: cold weather.... I was sand-blasted in the middle of a 7 acre white-rock oilfiled pad for about 4 hours this morning. My face is as red as a babboon's :censored:!!!

I feel much better now, since I had to clean up 6 more inches of snow yesterday ;(
Stopping to appreciate and enjoy the simple pleasures in life is a good thing.... carry on....
