Thanks CJ, I will go get a puller and give it a goIt's a GM steering column. This should be the same.
Will do as it function OK but very hard to turn, It's probably had a lot of crud get in it in 42 years "LOL"I just thought of something. It could be a binding switch and not the lock cylinder. Try removing the switch and then see if it is still hard to turn.
