One of my best friends I had during High school and for may years after actually had a 69 Judge and a 70 Super Bird!
The 69 was made into a quasi pro-street car (back in the early 80's). We took that Judge to Car Craft Supershor in Springfield IL and the Hot Rod show in Indy one year... What a great time! I cannot tell you how much fun we had driving the strip in that GTO!
As far as the Superbird, it was 440 car and it was rough! I remember it sitting in the back yard and when we shut the door, the glass shattered from the heat!
The Superbird was sold and it was then restored! 
Thankfully the car is now being driven and looks great!
