I have an 1988 AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l in my 95 wrangler, and I rebuilt the carb when i rebuilt the motor but its seriously lacking power for the 10mpg i got out of it, any ideas where i can get like a 1983 2 barrel carb for around $100?
or a kit to covert my weber to all mechanical?

Anyone have a mechanical 2 barrel carb they like to sell?
im trying to keep this project cheap, since im really trying to work on my charger and not my jeep, thanks yall.

Id recommend just buying a new 2 bl that will work on there.

Every time I've tried to save money by buying a used something or other it just ended up costing me more.

Buy an Autolite/Motorcraft 2100 or 2150 off of Craigslist or Ebay. NAPA rebuild kits run about $20, another $20 ish for a carb cleaner bucket, the kind you leave the carb sit in overnight. You'll be amazed with the difference.
