I dont know if I am missing something but I just cant get the inner wheel bearing off my Dana 30 . any ideas?

It could have spun on the spindle and welded itself on. Can you unbolt the six bolts and take the spindle off? If you can't get a bearing separator behind the bearing then you'll have to cut it off. The best to do that is a cut off wheel on a grinder or a die grinder. If bearing separator will fit with a puller pulling against a flat plate against spindle with nut threaded on flush with the end. I have done both.

Get a bearing puller. You can push on the end of the axle shaft.

The puller worked but the bearing actually cut a groove in the spindle the size of the bearing. I guess i will have to change that as well. Thanks for the help.

If there is a good machine shop in your area they can probably fix the spindle for you, I would think cheaper than a new one.
