1977 CJ 7; Amc 401 .30 over, Howell TBI, modified Dana 20 with Terra Low gears and twin sticks, NV 4500 5-speed, modified Dana 30 and Amc 20 both with 4.56 gears (narrow track), ARB air lockers front and rear, SSBC rear disc brake conversion, MICO Brake park brake, Navaho brake booster/ master cylinder, PowerTank CO2 tank.
It could have spun on the spindle and welded itself on. Can you unbolt the six bolts and take the spindle off? If you can't get a bearing separator behind the bearing then you'll have to cut it off. The best to do that is a cut off wheel on a grinder or a die grinder. If bearing separator will fit with a puller pulling against a flat plate against spindle with nut threaded on flush with the end. I have done both.
1979 Jeep CJ5 with 304 V8, T18 Transmission, Dana 20 Transfer case with TeraLow 3:1 gears, 4.88 axle gears, Detroit Locker up front and Ox Locker in back with 1 piece axle shafts, 36" SuperSwamper SX Tires, Shackle reversal, MileMarker Hydraulic winch, MSD 6A ignition.
The puller worked but the bearing actually cut a groove in the spindle the size of the bearing. I guess i will have to change that as well. Thanks for the help.
