Floor collapses at Weight Watchers meeting in Sweden


Members of a Weight Watchers group in Sweden have to find a new place to weigh in after the floor beneath their feet caved in at a post-holiday weigh-in Wednesday, a Swedish newspaper reported.

As about 20 members lined up to compare how many pounds they’d shed, they heard a bang as the floor came away from the walls of the room. “We suddenly heard a huge thud; we almost thought it was an earthquake, and everything flew up in the air. The floor collapsed in one corner of the room and along the walls,” one of the members of the Weight Watchers group told the Smålandsposten newspaper.
“We’re going to have to find a replacement premises,” Weight Watchers consultant Therese Levin told the paper.
No one was injured in the collapse, and participants moved to a hallway to continue with their weigh-in.

The Ex and I once went to Jenny Craig, it's expensive but it works.
They have group counseling once a week, I got a kick from walking into a room full of mostly overweight women and asking in a loud voice "Who wants donuts!!" . I had private counseling after that, no additional cost, go figure.:dunno:
