It's a Woot-Off!

Looked these up on klipsch's site. $900 a pair! I used to sell Klipsch back about 10 years ago before I became a tech. They were great speakers for home theatre and LOUD music. They were very efficient. Little power= lot o' sound. I actually have 5 of the in wall versions of these in my home theatre. Holy (r@p are they loud and clean.

Glad to see another Klipsch lover here! I have them for my home theater also...

Like you I think they are great. What are you powering them with? I have a Yamah RX-V2700. Like, you know, totally rocks... :)

I don't remember model #'s on them any more, but I think I am a little lower on the scale. Yamaha RXV659. I forget the speakers models, but they are the 6.5" with the pivoting compression tweeter and a 10" powered sub. We have klipsch throughout the house, and we chose this receiver because it was multi zone, multi input. With the kids, the home theatre gets used for nick jr and pbs kids all day.If you think Barney is bad on a regular tv, try him across your surround! But once a week, I get to rock out some country on cleaning day!

That is a GREAT receiver and it's a Yamaha RX-V to boot! :chug: A good choice and your reasoning was also one of mine. Multi zones...

I don't really think I could handle Barney across surround though!

Anyone who has Klipsch and Yamaha is a step above in my book!

LMAO!! Where's Sham? He could sing us the Spongebob theme song!!

I am so glad that Bubba will rock out with me!

BTW, as if my wife didn't have enough internet addictions, I showed her woot and 1saleaday. She now has 2 more site addictions. I guess I will have to limit what info I feed her from this site.:D

Tell her to check out fishingfordeals.com. Its a forum, but there are some serious housewives who shop for deals all day, all the time. You can find really good deals there.

Once, there was a thread about a deal on travel lite brites at toys r us. One color was $4.99, one color was a penny. Yep, these women find all of that stuff.

Deals at Target that are hidden. They find it.

You are welcome.

This is how it all starts. I get a toy and find a forum for it. The people on the forum act very supportive even though they are sabotaging me. They slip little things here and there about places my wife can spend money. Next thing you know I have to sell my toy to pay for what she bought.:( I posted a thread on my project hoping you will feel sorry for me and sabotage someone else! :D BTW my wife says thanks!;)

My wife is obviously better trained than yours...she needs no helpful hints on where to spend money.:(

I think most women have a 'spend money gene.'

I was born without the 'must go clothes shopping gene.'

I still like to spend money. :)

Most women are born with an ability to look at the closets in a home, figure out how many clothes items will fit in those closets, and then exceed that figure by a good 50 percent. :(

That was the only reason we had to buy a new house, we had no way to expand the wife's closet. Her new closet is as big as my kids bedrooms! And I bet all the women have the bigger closet in the house. It was a default when we moved in. Her closet is twice the size of mine. You now how many spare parts I could get out of the garage to free up space if I had her closet. I guess I shouldn't complain, my "closet" fits two cars. Or one jeep with spare parts! We have an agreement, I don't go in her closet, she stays out of MY garage.

:) I have an entire room to fill... its still almost empty. Bubba has 2 rooms. The hubby has 1/2 of the bed, the couch and 3/4 of the garage.
