While digitally thumbing through old Jeep Shots entries we came across some photos of a truly timeless jeep, a ’43 GPW owned by Clint from Alaska in an email from 2004. Unfortunately, we don’t have a tech sheet on the old Jeep (that’s probably why we never used it), and so we are left guessing what modifications the GPW has. Here’s what we spotted in the photos: a Warn full-float kit in what must be an offset Dana 44 rear axle, a GM tilt steering column, hanging pedals, a Saginaw power steering conversion, a Warn winch, heavy-duty shackles, an old school Smittybilt rollbar and front cage kit, and a front Ox Locker in a built Dana 30 . Not sure what mill or Transmission the old girl is running, but any way you look at it, it’s a sweet Jeep, Clint. If you have more info, or an update on the Jeep send us another email.
