Misc Jeep CJ passenger side

My first post! I have a 1984 Jeep Scrambler. Love it! Right (passenger) side convex mirror cracked. I’ve ordered (and returned) three Rugged Ridge mirror heads off Amazon as each one came as the plain non-convex style. I spoke to Tech Support at Rugged Ridge and they were suppose to check their Atlanta warehouse to see if Convex even is still available. Anyone else have this problem?

I have an 84 CJ7 that came with a passenger mirror. It’s flat. Did Jeep make a convex ? Post up a picture so we can see what you have.

Kinda hard to show but the passenger side mirror (at least the one I have) is curved, not flat like the drivers side. The convex glass provides a wider view but I’m guessing convex is no longer offered. See attached

I removed my passenger mirror 42 years ago. Just never had a good view over there. A big fisheye would work for sure if I drove with a top.

Ah, good point. The previous owner put the stainless style of side mirrors on and the set probably came with the right side convex. It’s just odd that Quadratec, Amazon, Willy’s Jeep all sell the Rural Ridge brand right side as Convex, even has a separate part number, but they all show up with plain mirror.

I bought the base model in 84 and the mirrors came black. My buddy bought the deluxe model and they were flat but chrome.
