Jeep CJ5 HardTop

Hi!

I'm about to buy an HardTop for my 1967 CJ5 but i don't if it will fit.

Here are some photos from the auction.

The seller doesn't know if this HardTop is for my CJ5 or the CJ5 from the 70's or 80's. Could you please help me?

Is there anyone with the same CJ5 as i and this Hartop?

I have had three of these Meyer metal cabs. The one shown will fit your '67 CJ5 .Be sure to get ALL the brackets for the door hinges,door keys if available,limit straps for doors. If possible take measurements of hole locations for door hinges(upper and lower) .Good luck to you, Mike S.

Is it possible to disassemble the hardtop? I mean separate que side walls from the top. Can i do it?

Yes ,the sides unbolt at the top and the rear window unbolts.I think small machine screw and nut probably rusted together. I take it that you would like to break it down for shipping? Mike S.

The Hardtop is a little far away from where i live. I can't get there on my jeep.

I'm thinking to put the hardtop in my car, that's why i was asking about disassemble it. Or i'll have to get a pick up for it.

It's easy do disassemble, isn't it?

If you can get the bolts removed(rust) then you can put the rear window, two doors and side pieces inside the top section for transport.the top section by itself is fairly bulky. Measures aprox. 5 feet x 6 feet. Mike

Will this hardtop fit the M38A1 windshield?

Well I can't say positively,but it looks to me like it should fit.I like the safari style w/s btw.I guess that was so they could shoot out the front
while they were chasing the bad guys. Mike
