Jeep drag racing forum?

What kind of times are you running. I`d like to run mine. But i can`t pass tech inspection, due to my fuel cell being on the rear floor and in the drivers compartment. If i broke in the 14`s on 35" tires. I`d be tickled poopieless.

Drag Race Forum! ( LOL ) I thought Jeeps were for off road & climbing around on things, enjoying the mountains and trails .........maybe a little hunting..................but Drag Racing?
I love doing it but you need a real race car!

I actually haven't had much time to play with the Jeep since I got the drivetrain in it. Just moved, new job, house, etc.

I know, weird idea. Spawned from my buddy and I taking his dad's AMX 390 powered CJ5 out and we beat a vette 3 times in a row. Passing emissions inspections is difficult with newer vehicles and I admit old muscle cars just don't do it for me. Definitely wanted something I could run on the street as well. PoPo was sending me and my turbo'd stang home or they were going to tow it.

I'm keeping my eyes open for an unfinished Factory Five Cobra car. I suspect that in a couple years this engine will be in something more appropriate.

Jason, ............Hey, no problem sounds like fun, just giving you a bad time, Hell years ago anything I had that would run and had wheels was racing somewhere......can't seem to shake the need for Speed!

350CJ, really hard to say with so many variables. Didnt see what gear ratio you are running. Theres a guy on another forum that runs 11.7s with slicks and 13.50s with his 37s. He runs 5.13 gears and a 401 that should be putting down a bit more power than yours. He runs an auto too.

My turd just burns off all over the place; still trying to sort that out.

I dont know how I found the time to build that jeep; seems like I can't even drag my butt out there to tighten a leaky PS hose.
