I did a quick search and found I a pair of '61 FC170s for $1800 in Texas so maybe offer
$800-1000

If you can get the serial number I can tell you the make, model and year. Looking at the pictures, I would say it is a FC170 as the FC150 was built on the standard CJ5 chassis with an 81 in wheel base. The FC 170 has a 103.3 in wheelbase and this is a "pick-up" bed as opposed to a "stake bed" which they also made. If it is a FC 170, it was fitted with a 226-i "Super Hurricane" six cylinder.

If you pick it up, I have lots of specs for it/them...let me know. Cool project. But I would offer him $400-$500 for it...let him know the man hrs that will be required to just get this thing clean let alone up and running again.

Looking at it again, closer, it could be a Military FC variant...if it is, than it is higher on the scale as a collector. If that's the case than the engine could be anything from multi-fuel to diesel.

Good luck.
