91 ho 302 fuel injected mass air motor.
i just picked up where my dad left off on a 78 CJ7 with a 1991 5.0 mass air brand new motor already put in and attached to a new dana Transmission . im probly one of the most lucky people i know because i recived it for free as it was my dads and my plan is to build in remembrance of him. i have a large tool supply and have a unlimted avalibiltie to any part i need to order.
the truth is i dont know much at all of what needs to be done to get the jeep into running order and hope to look to the experts on here to point me in the right direction.
the jeep i would say is 60% done. but needs to be wired for the most part, as well as the cooling system, brakes, air locker hook ups, preaty much a lott of basic work and small :dung: that i dont have much knowing about.
so thanks in advanced for the help. :chug:

Sounds like alot of work ahead. I would probably get it running first by hooking up your fuel system and the cooling system. Do you have the wiring and the engine controller to make it run ? Is it GM or Ford ? How about some pics.

yeah the main wiring harness, throttle body i gues is already wired to the main computer. it is a ford, its actualy a cobra crate motor.
i just ran my pick up and return fuel line and pump with filter and are kind of confused as to where i should point my attention to next.
i can upload pics soon also.

I ordered a stock 2 row copper AMC 304 rad for my CJ5 it has the water pick up and other holes right for the ford 302. Ive never had any problem with it over heating. Im not a big fan of the expensive aluminum 3 row ones. (havnt heard very much good about them)

Rig up something to hold your dash up and start terminating some of those wires. That will help end some of the confusion. Very nice jeep by the way.

alright
so how did you mount your radiator?

You need to mount your core support/grill first. If you're doing a tilt front end, you will need a seperate support for the radiator.
