Anyone been following the series AMERICA THE STORY OF US on the History Channel.Very interesting segement they had on them.Designed by Bantam manufactured by Overland Willis.Over 600,000 made in WW11 alone.Called the GP Jeep or General Purpose.Said they were a one of the major turning points of the war.Windshield had a a rifle stored on the inside frame. They were low to the ground and hard to hit hauled 7 people. It was pretty interesting 5 minute segment with film. 600k made where are they today.I've seen films of them laying in the bottom of the ocean still in crates in Hawaii and the Mediteranian.
