So guys after weeks and weeks of searching i have found two tubs that i can get shipped to me for reasonable prices so tell me which one to go with.

One tub is in Vancouver,Wa. 79 CJ7 tub. Cost - 50 dollars also can get frame for 50.
-The PO rhino lined it but sanded off the grip (rubber tits)?
-There is bondo between the windshield cowl spot?
-The body is pretty fair but dont know if there is any rust damage due to rhino linning

The other tub is in Salt Lake City,Utah from a jeep fab shop.83 CJ7 tub. Cost-100 Dollars for tub also,

can get a new tailgate with logo-AMC 150 . windshield brand new-AMC 150 . New

Grille-100. Hood-100 dollars

-The Tub has rusted out on the wheel wells where the roll bar goes in on both sides in both spots.
-The passenger and driver side floors will need to be replaced also.
-The jeep fab shop can do that for me but is over priced for the what is needed to be done.

So which one do you think i should get?

Just figures...The tub in Vancouver was less than 50 miles from my house before I moved...
I'd have to say it sounds like its the better one, But then again I don't like rust.
Most installers will get rid of all rust before applying Rhino-lining, so I'd say your safe there.
Do you have any pics of either or both of them?

Without being able to see either tub it sounds like the $50 would be in better shape. Like Mlcj5 said usually people prep pretty good before applying Herculiner. All the accesories ( grill , hood etc ) on the second one sound a little on the high side of the price range to me. Maybe not in your area though , I dunno. The tailgate for my CJ8 was $50 off craigslist , windshield frame used no rust with glass and all $80. Grills and hoods usually no more than $50 around here.

I was thinking the 50 dollar one to because the guy is a fellow jeeper and i told him to throw in the frame to because it already has a reverse shackle set up on it. The guy has a scrambler he rebuilt and a wedsite its called pistonswild.com check it out?

But be in mind the Vancouver tub was owned by some mexican kid, nothing against any races, just dont know how well of a mechanic the kid was or if he knew what he was doing. I may get the excessories from the other guy though will a 83 hood, tailgate, windshield etc... fit on a 77 body?

Look around the web a bit before grabbing those accesories. Ive found just about everything you listed barring the tubs for 1/2 the prices you quoted.

At what sites? because everything ive looked for is usually around the same price? if you could give me a couple of links for the parts. Thank you! Oh yeah gotta thanks sears for the 170 dollar 260 piece tool set so now i can work on the JEEP!

Well Vancouver to billings is only 14 hours. The guy said that he has a friend who comes to billings quite often, and was going to ask if he can throw it in on a load so i dont have to pay 3 dollars a mile. But i mean a tub and frame with reverse shackles for 100 bucks. not bad

The other guy has an account with dominion freight, said it would cost around 200-250. So thats what i figured but its worth it for a Tub.

I wish that I could find a deal like that.:)
