Jeep wont start just clicks in starter solenoid

1976 jeep CJ7 v8 AMC 304 QuadraTrac
Started yesterday after some issues with solenoid, just clicking.
Replaced solenoid still would not start,
Replaced starter same thing,
replaced voltage regulator, ignition control module, all battery cables. Cleaned all contact points for grounding. Still only clicks.
Tested battery with my charger it says the battery is good. Tried jumping across the solenoid, with a spare cable heard the bendix kick but nothing else.
Anyone have any ideas?

Since you jumped across the solenoid, which would be battery wire to starter wire. I would question the connection to the starter, or the starter itself.

Ya getting to that conclusion myself since I put the vehicle in neutral, ignition switch on and straight to starter nothing but sparks.

Sure battery is good? I've had service stations claim my battery was good with their 5-10 min test until they put it on a long deep cycle test taking several hours and then stated it was bad. Since it only clicked and wouldn't turn over my engine I told them should have been enough to say it was bad. Also had one with a short in it. Some times it would work and then others it wouldn't.

Have another one around you can try?

Classic tired old battery. Possibly a dead cell, low voltage.

Since it only clicked and wouldn't turn over my engine I told them should have been enough to say it was bad. Also had one with a short in it. Some times it would work and then others it wouldn't.

Well I bought the battery last july so... I guess I will take it back
I pulled the starter and tested it starter work, just to make sure took it to the parts store and they tested the starter it works. I have pulled all the ground cabes and took the drill with wire wheel to grounding points. Wire wheel to the dust plate where the starter sits. Nothing left but to replace the battery, I would have figured my jump box would override a screwed up battery.

Always start with the simplest solution, as its usually the problem

Can you turn the motor over with a braker bar?? The only time I have encountered this was a friends Scout. He swore it was running last week and come to find it had not moved in a year. The rings rusted to the cylinder wall, had to blow WD40 in the cylinders, wait overnight, and rock it back and forth in 4th gear to break it loose. More than likely not your problem but don't take anything for granted.

IO - I think he found that his battery was bad. Replacing it took care of the problem.
