Ready to go up north.
My name is John Campacci, hailing from Calgary Alberta Canada. My trail rig is 91' Jeep YJ. Suspension is 4" Rubicon Express leafs and 1" RE shackles, monotube shocks. no sway bars or track bars. works amazing. tires are 35" Procomp Mts on 15x8 Canyons. Driveline is a 4.0L/AX15/NP231. rear axle is an exploder 8.8 with discs, 4:56 gears and an ARB air locker. fronts the HPD30 with 4:56s ARB air locker, and 1 piece Chromo axles. (they will be in before you read this) other goodies include an M8000 Warn,2"BL, custom rear bumper/with tire carrier, rocker protection, on board air, electric fan, CB, rubicon flares, rubicon front bumper.
does it work the way i want? yea; competant trail machine and completely streetable
anything to change? good to go for now; V8, coilovers and Chev 14bolt/D60 one day........
funniest wheeling incident; put jeep on its side and blew a bead; became 'that guy' cause i was joking about being 'that guy' that'll get stuck. ooh, blew my starter once. stalled on an easy obstacle and was bump/pullstarted by a quad.............
anything to add: great magazine! and long live square headlight jeeps!
