Looking for some feedback - I am wanting to do a Jamboree next summer and am wanting to know if anyone has participated in a Jamboree in KY, TN or AL? Was it a good experience? Would you go again? If you have done more then one in the states mentioned do you have a favorite?

I've only been to one Jamboree and that was at Snow Shoe Mt. in West Virgina. We had a good time but the groups were to big for me, 20-30 jeeps in a group, which is normal for Jamboree 's.
If you don't mind the high prices and big groups you will have a good time meeting alot of jeepers.
If you like the rocks, Oak Ridge Tn. (wind rock/coal creek) should be a good trip.
I would only hope that they are worth the money, I have noticed that some outstanding locations are used though. If you want to go Jeeping, I would have to recommend joining a Jeep club. There are usually runs every month, have club meetings, and lot of good friends. You can also join as many clubs as you want, Then you really have a selection of where you want to go.
Will need to look into a jeep club in my area. My dad went on several jamborees over the rubicon and always talked about how much fun he had, thus the interest in a Jamboree . appreciate the input

Have not looked into a club. Life seems to be getting in the way. Hunting season is over and I am starting to get a little extra time. Still interested in doing a Jamboree over the summer and still plan to see if their are any local clubs I might be interested in joining.
