This is modtly just amusing. I have Jeep mouse. My CJ is parked in front of my house and last week I spotted some mouse turds on my passenger side floorboard. Then I noticed my backpack had been chewed open to get at a 4-pack of Oreos.
Now the hunt is on. Both to figure out how he is getting into the Jeep and to administer the death penalty. Now I have baited mousetrap in my CJ. I want get it before it decides to chew up my seats.

Good luck. There are plenty of holes where the mouse can get it.

When I picked up my CJ3a in 2018, there was (still is) a mouse corpse stuck midway through a hole in the heater box. I guess he got stuck and starved to death some long time ago.

Get one of those sticky mouse mats put a couple Oreos in the middle and just wait

After you catch this mouse (or mice), slice a bar of Irish Spring soap in put those slices in baggies. Leave them open placed in various places. This will repel the mice, make your jeep smell good, and soap always comes in handy when you own a jeep. We do this for vehicles we store any length of time in our big barn. Good luck catching them!

Check for chewed wiring behind the dash and on the firewall.
