I bought that carrier in 1979 I think and I have no memory where I got it. It was not war surplus I am sure.Hey! IOPort51 the pics of the jerry can carrier you posted look like a dutch military tire and fuel carrier that swings to the drivers side instead of the AMC tire carrier that swings to the passenger side, if you still have that carrier where did you get it or would you like to sell yours?
Thanks for the offer, its the best I have had today but I think I would be better off keeping it. If I see one like it I will let you know and if you want more pictures I will be happy to oblige.
