Alrighty.. Got the gas tank wired, hosed and mounted, re welded Johns crappy weld on the brake line tab, bent the new main metal fuel line and was going to do the return line when I had a visitor and got distracted.

Thursday I'm hoping to get the return line ran, the body mounts in the right location (got mixed up in the move) and the tub bolted down securely. Run the brake lines up to the booster and to the diverter valve hook up the steering column linkage, and wiring harness..etc..etc..etc

Needless to say Im hoping thursday will be an excellent day of every thing going back on the jeep one last time and if it goes really well Id like to get the front clip back together. Any one local have a pit man arm puller I can borrow?

Ok.. Thursday has come and gone and it's a little closer. Pretty much just needing to the body bushing straightened Out, the fenders on and finish up the wiring and fender mounted electrical then turn the key. It looks like one more solid day and with any luck she'll be running.

Picked up a Vacuum advance to replace the leaky one. Im hoping that having the return fuel line hooked up right, swapping out the bolts in the end of open vacuum hoses for proper caps and fixing some gasket leaks that it should run alot smoother then before.

Im hoping to get some love from here on Valentines day!

Thanks.. getting better every day! For a 140 flux core i seem to manage. My buddy has a 220 flux core and my welds are so much better. I wish I took some pics of the work I did on his frame.. I impressed my self. I may run over to his place to weld the perches on the rear.

Heres my short list of things to do before I throw it out on March 9th

Wheel Cylinders
Rear brakes
Bleed Brakes
New carb gaskets
Either wire up a manual choke or hook up the electric choke
Replace a bushing on one of the front springs
install drive shafts
Shorten steering linkage
Install J-10 pit man arm
Hook up steering linkage
Install the relays for the head lights
wire up the tail lights and fuel sending unit
Install rear shocks
New gasket and lube for front Diff
paint and bolt on Family roll bar
Install PAss seat, seat belts and finish up the interior
Double check all the bolts and tighten every thing down one last time.

Drive it on to the trailer and drink beer. Ive got about 4-5 solid days or about 30 hours to get it all done.. What do you think??
