A little more time on my hands coming up to work on my Jeep.

Came in to work today (I work night shift), and we had a meeting... We're going to start rolling furloughs starting next month until September if things don't start picking up. So looks like I'll have a week or so every month to spin my own wrenches instead of the giant ones i use at work. Meh...could be a good thing. I guess I'll have to look at the silver lining.

That's great that you will have more time off. Wait, you build drilling rigs and y'all are cutting back at work????

I have talked to at least three folks that are at the end of a LONG line for getting a drilling rig in this part of the country. One guy has 14 running and would like to have 30!

Send those guys our way! We'd love to build a rig for them. Yeah, I don't know what in the world is going on, but we've slacked off a lot the first quarter of this year. Last year was overtime out the wahzoo... I don't think I had one week under 60 hours unless I was on vacation. There were many 70 and near 80 hour weeks. This year...yeah. Not so much.

Yeah, at any rate, I'll be able to take care of some things around the house, and get some work done on my jeep. I won't have my first week off for another month (we'll all be on a rotating schedule), but I'll make some use of it.
